If one wanted to make the "tortilla" part of a wrap out of vegetables, could it be done? If say, you threw some greens into the blender or food processor and then flattened it out and put it into the dehydrator for a while...would it come out like a wrap? Or no?
Thanks :)

Hi there,
A raw chef friend of mine makes a veggie-based wrap. I think she uses red pepper, tomatoes, zucchini, avocado, garlic, green onion, salt, and a little psyllium husk powder to help it stick together. So basically, yep, just blend it all up and lay on teflex sheet to dehydrate.
I've never gotten around to making them myself-although I keep telling myself that I will!- but I've tasted hers and they are super delicious, delicate and pliable. She fills the wraps with some pate, avo, red pepper and a few slices of mango. Heavenly!
Let us know how your experiment turns out!
I doubt it, you need something that will bind it, like flax seeds... you can just use large leafed lettuce as the wrap, as is. Just wrap the leaf around veggies, pate, burgers... whatever and enjoy!
