Any suggestion for a quick, EZ and, of course, delicious dressing for fruit salad? Need to take to party on Saturday. Thanks

Hi cheri,

Here's a macadamia cream recipe that I got from Karen Knowler's raw newsletter. It is specifically designed to top up a bowl of your favorite fruits. We've made it a couple of times and it's soooooooo yummy! Another example of how simple can be so delicious!

For the cream
* One handful of raw macadamia nuts
* Juice of half an orange (or a whole one depending on juiciness)
* 2-4 large Medjool dates (or 4-8 smaller soaked ones)
* Small piece of vanilla bean (optional)

Enjoy!

Try lime juice with honey to taste, then spike it up a bit with either some finely chopped jalapeno or one of those long red Holland chilis. Either tastes great, but the red flecks of Holland chili make it more attractive. I often use this on a mixed fruit salad, or it also tastes great over just melon balls.

Hey Lana,

I think it was in her Christmas post or something so you were probably too buzy partying! LOL

Thanks for starting this thread. All these ideas look yummm.

Have really enjoyed finely minced mint on fruit -- sometimes made into a dressing of mint, dash of water and agave.

This sounds so good. I love the mixture of fruit & spicy. :D

In fact-I have made a salad with mango, red onion, tomato & lime juice with a dash of cayenne on romaine.

Thanks so much for the wonderful recipe. I'm very new to this and rather ignorant sooooo do I put the ingredients in a food processor or blender or juicer.....I'm just beginning to learn.
