Ya know when youre first going raw and some get over emotionAL and stuff? Well I know its different for everyone but if im already very stressed and emotional now do you think going raw will add more to this? I dont know how this could be possible as Im already crazily on an emotional and stress rollercoaster.

Can't speak for how you will respond yet, I became calmer. My husband likes me best when I'm raw. :)

It really is hard to say.. I used to be, way before raw, a stressball. However I got over that before I ever learned about raw. I've been transitioning over to raw and am currently vegan, no emotional issues so far. I did about 60-90 days raw and I didn't do the rollercoaster thing then either. But, like you said everyone is different. I know what helped me the most was keeping a positive attitude and letting things roll off of your back as much as possible. I thought of myself as a duck and let stress roll off like water does on a duck. It really helped. Of course I'd make myself laugh by quacking to remind myself of my 'duckiness' when I felt stressed. It made it fun!

Theres lots of impacted energy and lessons stuffed in the fat, toxins that are being expelled. So if you do feel emotional it's you're bodies ways of trying to get rid of it. Don't resist, just let it flow out, listen to a sad song to squeeze out the tears which are how the body cleanses those heavy dense 3d emotions. If you feel angry, buy a kiddy bat and hit the bed...and YELL... Just dont re-stuff by not expressing... You're body is getting rid of all those impacted energies that aren't alive or based from the frequencies of LOVE.

Enjoy... and let go. And have the anchor be... THAT THIS IS A GOOD THING...

It might be a good idea to go gradual, and minimize caffeine if you're into that. Bon voyage!

If you get a little more emotional than usual at first, it would be worth it if all of your diseases eventually get healed, correct?

Hehe Revvell! Even funnier is that just this morning that bird in the picture said for the first time 'Quack'! :D I'm rolling!

Laughter is good for stress is it not! The best medicine!

Raw can be like the best medicine for calming down. You will never know if you don't try.

-All you can do is choose your ultimate goals / dreams....and set small goals with timetables....and move towards those goals with passion and intelligence. This includes your dietary goals. Of course, you will have to monitor your own feedback....but you have to try...right? Are not NOT going to at least try to eat at a healthier level because you might experience some negative detox symptoms at first? I say give it a try in small proportions that are right for YOU. You have my 100% support.

Hi there,

Many people find that they are much less stressed and much happier after going raw. I know I did. :-)

All the best,

I became an emotional rollercoaster. My boyfriend became a ball of sunshine.

I chalk it up to hormones balancing out.

I'm a newbie, and I have to say, I saw a major drop in stress, and a huge increase in patience, and an overall feeling of being on an even keel after only about 4 days raw. I've had my moments here an there, but things are MUCH improved.

Curious, what do you mean by stress?

Do you mean the stress of preparing the foods, sprouting etc?

If you are talking about emotional/mental detox thru raw, it can be a very liberating feeling as your body purges all the crap, toxins and negativity. Although it can be challenging at times. The more purer your body is, the more balanced we are and our bodies can resist [being] stressed---since stress is self generated.

Revell speaks the truth. My hubby prefers me raw too...I'm happier. Calmer too. This makes me happy especially at work. You have to be ready for the emotional release that may come but I'll bet you feel more joy than otherwise...don't be afraid to feel your feelings sweetheart. You can always share here...oh yeah, and rent funny movies!

Once you're through with the detox, you should be absolutely fine. When I was fasting in September last year, I got incredibly grumpy and whiney - this time around I haven't noticed any such side-effects. Just stick with it and it will normally pass in a couple of days! :D
