My fiance is overseas and usually he sends me flowers and candy. However this year I would like to have some raw Valentines treats sent. Yes I can make strawberries with raw cocao syrup.. but its not the same as having treats made and sent to you. Does such a place exist where they will send raw Valentines candies and pastries??

My mom wanted to know this too!! She sends me care packages and will send me raw items, she is so supportive of me! But rawbakery might be the best site! Perhaps they will have some specials or packages for Valentine's Day?

At the health food store I saw a nice trail mix, I think I'll be getting my kids this years instead of candy.

Pammie's even come in a heart shaped box the webpage says. How romantic! ;)

So inspired by rawbakery I mixed some coconut butter, cocoa powder (nibs in a coffee grinder) agave syrup and peppermint oil (in a small bowl with a spoon)....I put it in the fridge to harden...yowza...peppermint fudge. You can't really taste any coconut but it's very creamy and yummy...I couldn't eat more than a piece it was so satisfying...

omg, berrymarymac...your Mom is so sweet!

I don't have an answer for you but if he is overseas, you need to be careful and check that it's okay for you to send the food you wish to send. When my husband was overseas, he said not to send any chocolate of any kind because it always arrived a melted mess due to the hot temperature where he was.

One of our members here, Gwena, makes and sells some DELICIOUS-looking (haven't tasted them YET...but sure they taste just as good) and very professional-looking raw chocolates. Do a search for her name and look into what she has to offer too!

You could try Kookie Karma too. They make some delish raw cookies. They have a sampler pack that is set up as a gift, very nicely done. If he does go there though he'd have to specify raw cookies only as the sampler pack is one of each flavor and they have three flavors that are cooked, unless they changed it since I last ordered anyway.

Enjoy!

I see Rawbakeries candy is not totally raw. He uses cocoa and not raw cocoa. Maybe because cocoa is cheaper?

Hey Rawkinlocs and LifesAgift. Thanks so much for the shout out! :D

Yep, I have a raw vegan chocolate company called Honeychild Living Raw Vegan Chocolates. If you check out my blog link, you can see pictures of some of our chocolates.

They are totally 100% raw vegan. We have a site for the chocolates that should be up by mid February, however, we do take orders via email. If you are in Chicago you can pick some up at the Chicago Diner.

We have the following flavors:

1. Gogi Berry Orange (Dark Chocolate w/Gogi Berries and Orange Essence)
2. Peppermint (Dark Chocolate w/Mint)
3. Heart's on Fire! (Dark Chocolate Hearts w/a Dash of Cayenne)
4. Rawmond Butter Cups (Almond Butter and Dark "Mylk" Chocolate)
5. Honeychild Signature Chocolates (Raw Honey Filled Dark "Mylk" Chocolate)
6. That's Bananas (Dark "Mylk" Chocolate w/Banana Filling)
7. Gogi Berry Orange Hearts on a Stick

We sell all of our chocolates by the piece. They start from $1 on up. The hearts on a sucker stick are $5, and perfect for V-Day. We do variety packs of your chosing, wrapped nicely for the holiday.

Just let me know if you are interested via email, and I'll get back to you with more info.

I can be emailed at: rawbazaar@gmail.com

My health food store carries Raw Bakery and I didn't like almost everything they make. The coconut joy bars are okay, but every things else... eh, overpriced.. RP's brownies are better any day!!

A friend of mine is just starting up a raw chocolate company and it is a million times better than anything I've tasted before. They sell the bars at High Vibe (in NYC) or I can pass along his contact if anyone is interested.

Hello Gwena ~ I was just on your blogsite and was reading on your Dec. 14th post that you had "raw french toast". Can you give me the recipe for this? It sounds wonderful! Btw...your chocolates look divine!

Blessings,
Jocelyn

Hello misslinda! How are you, my dear??? It's been a while hasn't it??? And yes, I remember the brownies. LOL!! Gosh, I've been away from RFT for a while that I'm surprised anyone remembered me. Heheheh...

Well, after my long hiatus, I am back. Looking forward to getting reconnected here again!
