I ask this question because i noticed after when i eat or drink parsley that i crave, i got funny taste that taste like metal or something. I got same taste again when i eat parsley again.

I wonder if that parsley are somehow cleaning? I didnt like the taste of filling.

In my last class, a lady who attended said that parsley (and something else, can't remember what...maybe cilantro ?) helps the body to detox of metals and she did mention it being good for people who still have silver fillings in their teeth to help clean those metals out of their system.

You may be what is called a supertaster as well...sometimes certain veggies and fruit will have a metallic or soapy taste...If you have fillings though it wouldn't surprise me about detoxing mercury fillings as Rawkinlocs mentioned...I woul dlike to get mine all replaced someday...

Parsley has always been recognized as a blood cleanser - purifier.

Supposed to clean the breath also.

Recently there was an article posted here that cilantro specifically helps remove toxic metals from the body.

1st times I tried to eat cilantro it tasted like soap to me. Now I love it.

Cilantro detoxing.

I made salsa using cilantro yesterday for my salad dressing. Hubby said yesterday. Well, last night he was sick, sick, and probably culprit of his body being too acidic. He jumped up out of his sleep with burning in his throat from all that acid. Thank God for a healthy heart or I could have had heart attack by this jump. He didn't want any green powders so he opted for water last night which helped him. Today, it's about greens mainly. He's much, much better.

thanks everyone.. :)

Now i know why i crave parsley as i have lot of toxic inside ( i ate junk, fry foods and milk lover for about 19 years). i never heard that word "cilantro" before, is it different kinds of parsley? I know only Curly prasley and other with "I" ( i forget the word). but i will check it at health store to see if they have it. i am not afraid to try everything that is green. :D

Carolg,
I remember the title that someone wore on t-shirt " tough men wear pink"... I guess it should be " tough men eat green leafy " :D I would love those t-shirts.

Cilantro only looks like parsley. Perhaps you know it as coriander? They are one and the same only different parts of the plant.
