My mum's sister is visiting her so I made a 4 course raw dinner for her to take home to eat with her.
The pesto mushrooms and lasagna are Italian so I wanted to make an Italian dessert. I found a tiramiso recipe here http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14624&highlight=tiramisu but it went wrong, and I've no idea what tiramiso is supposed to be like anyway, so I ended up making something up. Nobody's eaten it yet so I've no idea what it tastes like or if its worth making.
The Italian-ish dinner was:
Pesto mushrooms made with baby button mushrooms (the normal ones won't fit in my dehydrator) and the pistachio pesto from the lasagna. I meant to marinate the mushroom stems and add to the lasagna but I forgot.
Broccoli Soup with extra cumin and salt. http://www.fromsadtoraw.com/Recipes/BroccoliSoup.htm (half the recipe)
Pure Food and Wine Lasagna (half the recipe) http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=227517&posted=1#post227517
Not-Tiramiso http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14624&highlight=tiramisu
Italian fancy dinners consist of 4 more courses - meat or fish, veg, salad, and fruit but I didn't think they'd be able to eat any more.
