one of the hardest things for me to let go of when im raw is organic annies salad dressing. welllll i dont think that will be a problem anymore! i was messing around this morning..and i realized that orange juice added to tahini is a fabulous creamy dressing..and its so so yummy too! i dont like tahini by itself, but the orange juice transforms it from ick to mmm :D

i put 2 tablespoons tahini with 1/4 a cup of orange juice. this dressed a salad the size of a mixing bowl (i love salad, ok? lol)

i dunno if this is a recipe already or not..i partially got the idea from the "sexy 'ladies' like it raw" video with the tahini and the lemon..but didnt use olive oil or any of the other stuff. just thought id share to maybe help others who have trouble finding a good and simple salad dressing to replace conventional ones!

I have a jar of tahini in the fridge that I have used all of once because it tasted like death! I hate to waste it and I am glad I wont have to now. :)

Thanks for posting this, I've been desparate for a good dressing that doesn't use oil or the precious nuts or seeds I'd rather use in other recipes. I only use sesame seeds for sesame milk and houmous. I don't like tahini either so I don't mind using that or the sesame pulp in a dressing. Yay! I have some tahini in my fridge, its been there for ages, so I'll go and make this now. I'll eat it with the leftover zucchini from when I made lasagna.

Glad its not just me who does that
When I first started making salads for my mother, I made them that size and she lost her temper and said it was far too much and who on eath would eat a salad that size, and I looked embarrassed and said "um...me. I do". I thought that was normal size. Oh well!

Are you the woman or the man in the picture? If you're the woman I can stop worrying. If you're the man I guess that doesn't count, men are supposed to eat more. :(

I have a jar of tahini that's been in the fridge since mid/late 2005. Do you guys think it is any good? May be a really insane question. :o
