So I can't afford both Alissa's Book and DVD. So I want to just get one of them for now. Which one should I get? :)

Thanks!

It's fun to see Alissa in action on the DVD, but there's more info in the book.

I agree. The book has a lot more information in it. The dvd is nice for learning because you can see what she is actually doing, but it has less recipes and if you have questions that the book doesn't answer, you can always ask on here. :)

I also vote for the book. The dvd is great, but it won't give you the actual recipes, ingredients, and all the other great info contained in the book.

Hands down . . . the book. Like everyone else has mentioned, the DVD is cool seeing Alissa in action, but the book is my kitchen bible!

Without a doubt - the book! I have many raw books - Alissa's being the very first one I bought and I continually go back to hers. It is full of information, testimonials, recipes, just full of wonderful things! I could not put it down when it first arrived in my home. I also highlighted various comments, information, etc. which now I can refer back to in a hurry. I have re-read it about a half a dozen times. The format is awesome! The margins are wide so you can add notes. Don't feel bad if you booger it up with food and such. It will get broken in that way...
So yes, please purchase her book! So well worth it!

*chants* book, book, book! :)

lol!

the recipes alone are reason to get the book, but the rest of her book is so informative, and can help when explaining to others about what the heck you are doing with your diet!

The DVD is great, but the book is much more practical for the day to day things you'll want to retain, more recipes, more facts, and it's something you won't tire of re-reading, where I, personally have only so much of a threshold for repeated viewings of a DVD.

so, adding my vote for the book!

You can do what I did.. buy THE BOOK... then get the DVD later. I admit, I enjoyed them both, but you can do without the DVD.. but not THE BOOK!
