I finally had some time today to watch and listen to the press clips that are available on this website about Raw Food...

First, if you are looking for some inspiration and motivation to keep you on track, watch and listen to the clips (especially Revvell's clips). It is great to hear Alissa speak from the heart, in such a genuine and authentic way. Another tool to go in your "toolbox" with the book and other information from this site...

Second, that clip from the Today show. Could Katie be any less enthusiastic or more without manners? I am not a big fan of Couric and I know that guests only get so much time per segment, but they seemed like they weren't even listening and trying to run her off of the show!

Alissa's most recent interview with Revvell is so interesting -- and it makes me so happy for and proud of Alissa for all of her accomplishments and for her glowing spirit. She talks more about her experience behind the scenes with the Tyra show and I am so thankful that Alissa did/does not "sell out" as seems to be the case with others who are trying to market their diet and/or products, business, etc. Her being is a true testament of what is possible when you find your true calling and path in life. It's not just about eating "raw" or the "diet", but her calling and vocation to help others, as well as her willingness to stand up for her beliefs -- and simple life.

It seems as though the "mainstream" is so threatened by her simple and positive attitude -- those who cannot see beyond the dollar signs and capitalizing on people's depression, poor health, anxiety, unhappiness. It is so sad that we are surrounded by people in this world who live to do this -- essentially making careers out of other's illness!

In any case, Alissa is a truly special person, and I believe that we are all blessed by her desire to touch our lives in such a simple, yet powerful way.
