Not in the least.
i finally found ut what a green smoothie is...how many calories?
I haven't the foggiest idea.
do i have to worry about calories?
You never did. Taylor, if counting calories worked, you'd be slim now. My suggestion, get Alissa's book and dvd's and most, if not all of your questions will be answered.
There are also other threads on here about calories if you wish to search them out.
Welcome, have fun and remember, always, play with your food. :D

just to give you a general idea..
ive been high raw for two years, but as of the 1st of this year ive committed to 100%.
since committing, ive been eating nonstop..seriously, all i do is eat.
im certain im taking in at least 2000 calories a day, as i use quite a bit of olive oil and avocado, plus a good amount of orange juice with is calorie-dense.
despite this, ive lost 2.5 lbs in 3 days already.
if its raw, eat up. no calorie counting necessary :)

I am fairly new to this, so I may not be the best person to give advice, but here goes: I am using FitDay at the moment to try and keep an eye on things. A lot of people say it's easy to eat too much fat on this diet, but that is the one thing I am not getting enough of (although I doubt I am getting too little - it depends on which RDI you go by!) - all the other nutrients are well and truly covered. The most important thing is that you eat a varied diet.
By the way, if losing weight is your motivation, listen to this: although I totally stuff my face the whole day through, I struggle to even get 1500 kcals per day! So don't worry - I think you're bound to reach your ideal weight on this diet!

Raw food is really about freedom. I used to be a weight watchers person and I was always having to calculate things, and most of the food I was eating was cooked and processed.
Since I've been doing raw, I never had to think about calories or carbs, fats, protein, yadda yadda yadda. As long as it's living foods I'm free to eat what I please, and eventually your body will tell you what you want. It's a very liberating feeling.
I agree with Revvell. Get Alissa's book and DVD, they're awesome. In the mean time keep searching for info on this forum. You'll find answers.

You shouldn't have to be counting calories unless you find yourself eating in a very unbalanced way, such as eating mostly dessert things and little else. If you find yourself doing that then you would need to take a closer look at what you are eating and perhaps adjust things.
