For all you vegetable tempura lovers out there! I used to love this stuff, and id always have it when going out for sushi.

The other nite i had leftover almond ricotta from making lasagna so i added some water, ground flax, minced ginger, and a little lime juice.

Into the batter i dipped zucchini rounds, carrot slices, red/green pepper strips, and very small broccoli florets. Popped em into the dehydrator on teflex for a few hours, then transferred to the mesh sheets.

OMG they were sooo yummy! Id say the zucchini and broccoli were my faves. I ate em up so fast that there was no time for a pic!!! ill definately be making these again!

I think there is a recipe in Raw Food Real World for tempura as well. I'll have to go double check.

and ill add another thing...a dipping sauce would be great for these. either a sesame oil/ lime....or just braggs would be great...to get the effect for the real thing
