View Full Version : Raw support or family counselling?

There have been some posts lately that seem to be asking for advice beyond raw - seems like some folks need to work on communicating with their spouses or parenting their kids or being open with their parents more than trying to get them to accept eating a different way.

Am I wrong here or is there a problem? I'm not talking about how to answer the protein question or what to order in a restaurant, I'm talking about communication breakdown with people in the household.

I don't think there are many of us qualified enough to give family advice - I think some people really need to look into and pray about what's really going on, beyond a dietary change.

Let me add there are many who are on drugs prescribed by their doctors looking for medical advice. If you don't trust your doctor, why you going to him/her?

Yes! Also I have seen in the past folks asking for "immediate" medical advice for someone else who isn't even raw.

We just aren't qualified to answer questions like these, especially when we don't even know anything about the person.

Although I've been answering some of these questions and not sure that I should!
