Recipes calling for 4 cups of sprouted wheat or other grains means:
4 cups of SPROUTED grain that is measured AFTER the grain is already sprouted and NOT BEFORE.
Another tip......
Buckwheat and barley, or grains such as these, usually take a day to day and half. I soak before going to bed, so they are there overnight, sit in a bowl and sometimes glass jar works for me, and sprout next day.
