Well it was day 1 of the new year and the new you or the continuation of the new you.....we have a lot of really new people so maybe we could share our experience?? I'll start.
Jan 1. 2007!! I've committed to my self to 100% raw and I'm really proud of myself!! was at a friends open houde with lots of my favourite SAD food, I won't go into detail but take my word for it:) I really just kept reminding myself of my committment to health and to self love and walked away from the table...you really can just walk away!:) wow!. It felt so good deep down you know........and yesterday was 100% in I don't know how long. Mostly I was between 95-98% which is not bad:), but what a huge jump to 100% I had no idea!!! I was also thinking that we should get Alissa to do a meal delivery service nation-wide like some other chefs do. A weeks worth of Alissa's rawsomw food delivered to our door!! I did that fro myself as a new years gift...it should be comming today!! Love to hear from you all!!! Happy and Healthy New Year!!!!

:D I feel better this year than i have in the past two years.
I love the new me, it seems as though i've had some issues in my body but whatever was happening is much better, never found out why i was feeling sick but it really doesn't matter now.
We never purchased a stove and never missed having one and now i'm glad about it.
I did purchase a steamer as my husband says his job is too demanding so i steamed his potatoes this morning and i didn't eat any of them myself.
I guess i'm around 85% raw and it seems to be easy for me to maintain that level and mostly i try to eat lightly cooked during the morning or early afternoon and include lots of raw with it.
I'm really happy and i love being alive in 2007 :D :D .

Was a good day for me as I exercised and went 100% raw. A few setbacks was not being able to find a pair of running shoes and discovering a mouse in the lounge!! ok, we live in the country, but still, it sent me palpitating...

I did great and feel so proud of myself.
breakfast was fruit, I snacked on "cheese sticks", and had guacamole with onion bread for dinner, then a few dates for dessert in the evening.
I know eventually I'll need to incorporate more salads and greens in my diet.. but for now I'm happy I'm just doing 100% raw! :D

I have been 100% raw for 4 months now and I did slip a bit (on purpose; however, as I planned this!) and I made and ate turkey enchalidas that used to be a family favorite for years -- and they were a hit with everyone.
Not only was it cooked food, but I have been a pure vegetarian for nearly 4 years so it was the first meat, as well as real dairy I had in a long long time. It was tasty, but now I'm back to my 100% raw deal! I love being raw, I love the feeling of it, and I have no problem going back to 100% immediately.

I wasn't 100%:(
My mom did buy some raw stuff...but it was not fresh...and got sick from it. Next time, I will go to Whole Foods Market...and get my own raw stuff:eek:

I spent 1/1/07 SLEEPING and RESTING and SLEEPING and RESTING some more. I only drank water with lemon all day.
I am so psyched to start this new year 100% raw and looking forward to new challenges, new experiences, and a new mindset--- positive, affirmative, I CAN DO whatever I choose to do!!!
