Well, for Xmas my mother gave me a small tin of Vegan Pate. I LOVED it on a cracker with jalepeno jelly! (convert these into raw, and I'm safe. O_O )

I ran out. I checked the ingredients, and made my own. YUM! I'm sure this is remarkably similar to other pates or spreads put on the board, but I'm proud of this, because it came from my head, and I love LOVE creating recipes & converting SAD recipes to RAW VEGAN! So this is me holding up my crappy crayon drawing so Mommy will put it on the fridge ^_^ :p :D

*Handful (or two) of sunflower seeds & pumpkin seeds
*Spices of your choice (I used cayenne pepper, onion powder, pepper, and various herbs I cannot remember)
*Cold-pressed oil of your choice (olive is good, but plain canola will do, or a nut oil)

Blend the sunflower seeds & pumpkin seeds in a coffee grinder until fine, taking a few breaks to keep the heat from rising.
Put in a bowl & mix with enough oil to create a THICK paste that will hold together. Then add the spices to taste. YUM!!!!!

I'm so proud!! MY FIRST RAW VEGAN PATE!! NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW!!!

That's amazing! And isn't it wonderful how easy it is to recreate our favourite cooked tastes in raw food.

PS I love BC... I've been there twice and pass through the airport often. Next time I'm going to plan an extra couple of days when I pass through!
