I made my first one using:

2 apples, 1 banana, i celery stick and half of a collard green. It came out really thick and i tried adding some water. it was a little bit better, but it was still thick. any suggestions? Did I do it right? Is it supposed to be juiced  BUT, the taste did come out pretty good. It might take a little getting used to, but it wasn't too shabby! I can see how the sweet of the applies and bana dominated the greens. :) Thanks guys!

When I make smoothies, I add about 1/2 c. of water to it and if the water happens to water it down too much, I'll add a date or two. It's probably due to the apples because when you blend apples, you really get apple sauce. I usually do like 1 apple (or a pear), 1 or 2 bananas (really like bananas) and one large kale leaf or a handful of spinach and sometimes add a couple of frozen strawberries or some blueberries.

Just add more water until it's the consistency you want...not too thick, but not too watery either. BUT..if you want, you can leave it thick and have it as a "pudding" and eat with a spoon! We sometimes do that as well.
