Organic fresh young coconuts, WHY not available?

Hi all, see the subject:

Please think with me:

* why are organic fresh young coconuts
(the white ones, not the old brown coloured , not available
(almost not) in my country, the netherlands? :(

* Anyone familiar with circumstances/reasons causing this problem? :confused:
* How is this in your country?

- Bounty available everywhere, but not these wonderfull fresh young organic nuts. Can you follow this, am I missing anything..?

(like: water is everywhere, but not a drop to drink...)

Can you contact wholesalers and let them know there is a market for them? You could be the catalyst that brings them into your country.

You're pretty far north, I think that's why. At least, that's all I can figure. I'm in the same situation, I'm Canadian, and I don't eat coconuts because I can't find ones that aren't usually moldy or rancid. On rare occasions I see the young white ones, but I've never seen organic or anything close to fresh. I can't imagine what a fresh one tastes like.

but I can get non-organic ones sold in Chinese stores, and I suppose these also come from far away, from thailand?.
Better ask in the chinese stores
So the distance can't be the problem.

* If I succeed getting them in the stores, 2007 is almost a good year..
