I am brand new to the raw diet and learning a buncy about my body. I admit that I have been really loving the nuts, honey, maple syrup types of foods more - I have a green lemonade for bfast - fruits in the morning until I discovered some great raw cereal with almond milk - now i have the cereal and the green drink (kale, romaine/celery, apples, lemon, ginger).

I am not obese by any means - I am 5'6 157 - I'd like to be about 145. I have gained body fat lately on the SAD diet. Are there others on this site that are in a similar weight/height proportion that could tell me how fast some of the extra 10-15 pounds shed off?

I see postings about people who are overweight or obese talk about pounds dropping off every day - I am not seeing that right now so I am rethinking eating maple/honey at all. Any input would be great.

Happy new Year...
Robert

hey robert! congrats on going raw...

Im not a diet expert but i do know from personal experience that eating a high fruit and greens diet will help anyone shed weight fast. Anytime you introduce more complex meals, you will slow down the weight loss.
sounds like ure doing good by eating lots of fruit and drinking greens, keep it up and have patience. ;)
