I did a search and these are two that I've been considering ...
Don stuffed mushies with the following pate at Thanksgiving and they were awesome.
Sorry, can't remember where I got this recipe though...
3 tbs sunflower seeds, soaked
1/4 cup mushrooms, chopped up
3 tbs chopped onion
2 tbs chopped cranberries
1 tbs chopped parsley
1 tsp poultry seasoning
Nama shoyu or salt, to taste
Process well in FP, stuff your mushies and dehydrate for a few hours.
Yummm....i came up with this after my almond bread got dehydrated too long!
Wanted to share because its so tasty.
Taco Salad:
As a base i threw down some romaine and baby spinach. Then i topped it with "refried beans"*, guacamole, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, and crushed up crispy almond bread.
I bet olives, cucumber, and onion would be a nice addition.
*For the beans i pureed: soaked sunflower seeds, tbs tahini, chili powder, cumin, sea salt, and some water until creamy but a bit chunky.
With all the flavours going on, the bread tasted like taco chips in the salad. It was great! hehe

I was going to say refried beans. I've been meaning to make them for ages.
I have to try this recipe as I didn't care for the one in Alissa's book. Guess it was the garbanzo beans... I'm going to try Rawkinlocs recipe though. Sounds yummy!
