I'll join the fanclub! I always love to look at the pretty food pictures she creates. I went yesterday and got some of those small scalloped edge pans with the hole in the middle. I always wondered how some of the raw resteraunts get their crusts that way! Now I know :)
I'll join too... and since Fairygirl has so many goodies left over perhaps the first 10 to join can get a sample of her treats LOL This will free up some space so she can concentrate on a recipe those yummy looking bars that she threw together!

Adrienne - its so sweet that you've given me my own thread, i cant believe it!!!
Ama - haha, seriously i would send u guys some goodies because ive been on overflow...id just be worried about the time it would take to get there.
Last nite at my party i gave out some little goody bags of raw goodies :D
salsababy, im glad u got some tarte pans! now you can make even better creations ;)
Carmella - i used a round cookie cutter to get the round shapes
Fairygirl... your new pics are drool worthy. I have no sweets prepared and looking at your stunning platters doesn't help. Did you do all of that with a pastry bag? I really need to invest in something like that because everything is just so beautiful... looks MUCH nicer than anything I've ever put together. I'm sure everything was a hit.
Yes fairygirl please share your secrets!!!! Or write a book and I will purchase it. Every rawfood picture you post makes me want to go make it. You are very talented and thanks for sharing your gifts!!!
me too!!
everytime I show normal-eating people raw food I choose your pictures - they look sooooo appealing:D!!

aww thanks guys!
yeah for some things i use a piping bags, with different tips on the end. and some things i just spread into a pan, or onto the teflex sheet to dehydrate. i guess it all depends. but for cookies i do like to use a piping bag because it makes life easier, looks good, and is much faster.
im planning on creating a life food un-cookbook. it takes a while to get things together, but eventually i will :)
a few of my recipes will be in Carol Alt's new book coming out in the spring of this year :D

That is so cool fairygirl! To have your recipes in a cookbook and then to have your own! Wow - I know we will all be buying one of yours the minute it hits the shelves.
I wished I lived closer so I could be a recipe tester!
Happy New Year!

Wow, share with us more about your connection with Carol Alt. Are you her sister? Will you be getting credit in her book? Will your recipes be there? Is it all about raw? Yes, always loving your pictures, recipes and everything you share with the family here. Thanks.

Hey fairygirl,
Hum, already spreading your mouth-watering creations hey? I'm happy for you!
About the Institute, you know the friend I've told you about who opened up a raw restaurant in Qc and recently moved to Nelson? She studied there as well! (Isn't it where Dr. Doug Graham is too? I know he's been a major influence on Fred Patenaude's raw approach.)
Now, it's in California and in order to get there, you need to go through BC... You get the drift? lol Anyway, you KNOW that you're welcome anything in our humble home!
