Does anyone drink this? How do you feel?
I've never had any besides the brand Synergy...
I'm sure others make it too.
It's really interesting!
Or has anyone ever made their own?

To my understanding, kombucha is good for probiotics and digestion...

You can buy a kombucha culture (mushroom) online and start your own batch....I am planning on doing this after speaking with a worker at our HF store. He said it's easy....The instructions are all right there with the "kit" when it comes....around $20...I LOOOOOOVE Synergy Kombucha but it is so expensive I only ALLOW myself one per day! I am experimenting right now. I don't think this will work but just for the heck of it I filled a gallon glass jar with fresh water and 4 kombucha tea bags (Yogi Tea) along with about a cup of agave nectar (the culture feeds off the sugar) and it's sitting next to my dehydrator....Will it ferment? Hmm, who knows but it's been there for 2 days and LOOKS like tea! Haven't tasted it yet. From what I've read it needs to age 30 days??? I doubt that it will work because it's not the live mushroom but I like to experiment! Good luck!

I know the Synergy brand has many flavors and is like a yummy spritzer...it's fermented and has a soda "kick" to it.....The owner of this particular company began bottling it after his mother's success in overcoming breast cancer from drinking it...It claims to support: digestion, metabolism, immune system, appetite control, weight control, liver function, body alkalinity, anti-aging, cell integrity, healthy skin and hair.....It is full of probiotics, amino acids, etc... and is a great detoxofier. This is not an infomercial but I drink one every day (2X on long run days) and am "addicted" to them even though $.29 per bottle! I am going to order a kombucha culture and start making my own soon! Anyway, for Al it may be worth a shot! I plan on toasting Kombucha at midnight tonight! CHEERS!

You might be able to find a culture on Craigslist or something like that. The spirit behind them is to give them away for free. That is how we got ours and that is what we did with extra ones....
Here is some other info...http://www.kombu.de/suche2.htm
I drink the Synergy brand all the time. I really like the Grape amd Strawberry flavors.

I LOVE THE GRAPE TOO! I just started getting the citrus and love it...It reminds me of a mixed drink! ;) without the hangover!!!
I am going to get my own culture though too...

My friend and I just started making this tea, because I loved it when I purchased it from the health food store.
The first batch I made was vinegary and it didnt bubble for me. But I drank it anyways. I dont like to waste things.
I just started my new batch today. I will test it in 5 days. Perhaps, I will dump some out and see if it will bubble up after just 5 days. Then leave the rest to continue fermenting.
I think using litmas paper is the best way to test the tea for the perfect ph level that the tea needs. To enhance all its benefits
Here is a link for you..

I have, I'm trying to drink it more often. My HFS only has the regular, the ginger, and the raspberry. I've had the ginger once, and the raspberry a few times. I definitely prefer the raspberry, but I won't say it's actually good.
ETA: It's $3.79 a bottle at my HFS.
