I kinda feel out of my league here seeing as im ...ahem... 0% raw.... Ive been lurking for a few weeks and Im so inspired to get on the wagon.

Im very environmentally and spiritually concious and this seems like the next natural step for me.

One of my New Years Resolutions was actually to eat less Overly packaged processed food. And after I decided that I thought, ,, omg how am I going to do that?!~ Then I found this forum :D

So Im not going to crash and burn by trying to go 100% overnight, but I am definatly aware, and willing to make small choices every day that will lead me on a healthy spiritual mind, body, soul path to enlightenment.

Besides that!! I live in a small town in Quebec close to the American border, am married, have 3 boys (just about 3years old, and the other 9 months old and 28 years old.. the later being my husband :p )

I find the advice here great, I love learning and am going to start of by incorporating more fruits and raw veggies (always loved em better raw anyways!) into my diet.

Thanks for having me =)

Welcome from a fellow Canuk. (British Columbia)

Glad to have you aboard, you'll love this place for all the wonderful support and friendship it offers. Don't be afraid to ask questions and click on the banana at the top of the page if you're looking for something in particular. You'll find a lot of very helpful, informative threads about almost anything.

welcome earthy-mom! At first I was so upset with myself when I "slipped" but now that I have read so many threads from long-timers describing their transitions to raw and how some of them took years - well - I am not into punishing myself about it anymore. It is about getting to where you want to eat the raw food instead of your other options. There are many Canadians on here but they do not always identify themselves as such. (wonders why?) I am thrilled to see people from all over the world posting on here. So just go easy like you said. Keep reading here. There are many wonderful links posted on old threads for all kinds of resources. . . just put your key words in the banana search.

Oops Walkin' - I echoed you!

I don't believe that you are 0% RAW. You might not be 100% RAW. I am sure you eat an Apple or Orange, a Salad, the Parsley on the Dinner plate. Now you see, we are taking steps.

You can incoperate more Fresh RAW into your diet or you can open your eyes and just DIVE in. Any way you choose we will be here for you. Always remember that this is YOUR Journey and you are at the Controlls. I am just so Excited that you are taking a Step.

I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW.......Welcome to MY World....
