Hey anyone around now... Okay... Such a silly question but... The store only had those tiny lil peeled carrot slices. Okay not a problem. The recipe calles for 4 medium sized carrot? So my question would be, How many cups would 4 medium carrots equal if sliced up like the peeled slices of carrots I got?
How many cups should I use of these buggers?

You mean peeled like grated cheese? or just whole carrot sliced up.
4 carrots grated might make 2 cups of carrot
Sliced up 2-3 carrots peeled and sliced would make a cup.

Sawwy... I meant like the lil organic carrots that are sliced and peeled already for u.. There like baby carrots in those plastic baggies.. Mini Peeled Carrots, not grated... Just looked at the bag. Duh all ova me.

Well, I'd just eyeball the carrots....line up the little ones....pretend your building a big one...and if it's less or more...I'm sure the recipe won't mind...
I just made mock salmon pate....now I don't know how many celery sticks make two cups...so just sorta estimate...and I've never had a raw recipe go wrong with a bit more or less of a veggie...

I know the kind. My wild guess would be 1 "small bag" of tiny peeled carrots, like gourmet size would equal 3/4-1 med. carrot. The bags I am thinking don't have tons of carrots in them, but there could be a larger size bag you described and myself thinking one size, you the other. If you don't have enough moisture coming from the carrot, you can always add more to make it like a patty or burger effect. If you have trouble holding it together without seeing the recipe, flax ground up can help bunches. Keep us posted and enjoy.

Im wondering how many 4 medium carrots would weigh? Cuz my bag of mini peeled carrots, is 16 oz and weighs one pound? Hmmm maybe 4 medium whole carrots weighs one pound??

Elaine is soooo right..Just estimate-wing it...whatever. Line em up-taste it & see if it's enough-if not-add more. I taste EVERYTHING before I dehydrate & add things that I feel are needed.
Don't sweat the small details or you'll drive yourself crazy. Raw un-cooking is about freedom & having FUN with your food.
To answer your ?-I'd say about 1-2 cups would be right... ;)
