Hi everyone. My name is Maree & I live in NSW, Australia. I have a gorgeous husband Ben and 3 beautiful little boys; Joe (4), Harley (2 1/2) and Duke (10 mths). I tried making a photo of the boys my avatar but couldn't seem to get it small enough (any suggestions?).

I have been searching for several years on the perfect way of living for my family and it has (finally) led me to the Raw Food Diet - and Alissa's way is amazing - I don't think my family could have made the transition if we didn't know what was possible. Ben is totally on board, which I am over the moon about and it is only because he now knows how great raw food can be (not just boring salads). As you can imagine, the 4 "boys" in my family get VERY hungry and need a lot to fill them up. I am madly trying to learn as many recipes as I can. We've been having some fun with it though and are really enjoying what we've created so far. I have lots of questions, but will save them for the Discussions area!

I am glad that this forum is now going to stay focused on Alissa's way of eating, as I have found it quite confusing when looking at all the info out there. I thought this way was simple, but I guess there are differing opinions in all areas of life!

We eat as much organic food as possible (will be moving to the Sunshine Coast next year - unlimited access there - can't wait!!), we use cloth nappies, don't vaccinate our kids, never go to the Dr (as I can't find a good one), homebirthed our last baby (unassisted), use organic & natural cleaning & personal care products and we want to home school our children...

I look forward to getting lots of great advice & support & am so happy we found this way of eating.

Maree.

Welcome! I've never been to Australia but many of my friends have gone and brought back so many stories and pictures. I'de love to go. I have homeschooled both of my children. It is exciting and such a bonding experience. Raw is fun too! Have fun!

Thanks for the welcome! Dr Bloem - wish there was one of you around my way! So great to hear of doctors who embrace natural health.

We are having some fun with raw.

Is there some way I can get notified when threads I post to have replies? Is that the "Thread Subscription"? What is this poll thing?

No, not as I know of, just view your PUBLIC PROFILE by touching your name and you can find the Thread you posted and pull it up and check it. Someone else might be able to give you more insight, but maybe this will shed some light on the Subject.

Don't have a clue about the Aviator. You see my photo don't you (*-*)

So Happy you found us and welcome to our BEAUTIFUL FAMILY, We are so glad you are here......

I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW......Welcome to MY World..

I think Australia is a magnificent place to be raw!!! *grin*

So much so that I've relocated from Toronto Canada to the Gold Coast of Australia. It's gorgeous!!!

So good to have met you Maree and you just never know... one day we may meet up at an event or organic market in Australia!

Cheers,
Sheryl

Hi Maree

I have just joined this forum and live on the Sunshine Coast. What part of the coast are you planning to move to?
