Looking for Northern VA Buddies

Hello all! I was wondering if there are any Northern Virginia (Fairfax/Arlington/Alexandria) raw foodists out there? I feel like an island in a big ocean with only this site (I know there are others but this is my fav) as my life line. My family refuses to eat 100% raw and my friends just think this is another fad/phase for me. (Although this is not entirely unreasonable given my past.) I know in my heart that this is the way I want to eat and live, but could really use some local support (pot luck anyone?) during these first thirty days!!!

Hi Susan,

I currently live and work in Alexandria. I have been to a few raw food potlucks in the area. I will be sure to let you know the next one that comes around.

There is a yahoogroup mainly of people in the DC area. It's called RawSoul. You might want to subscribe to that list.
