I'm not sure where to post this so feel free to move this if need be.

Tonight we had our local rawluck. We had lots of snow so maybe the reason less people were there. We introduced ourselves and one woman said she was from Italy. I told her about a lady from this grouip (Alissa's group, from Italy), who wrote a raw food book. She said "she is the woman." It is our very own Fragola. My husband is from Italy, speaks Italian. I hooked them up via phone. I'm having her over to our house when she returns from her small trip to NM probably next week.

I wouldn't have recognized her from the picture. I don't know when the picture was taken but maybe she will give us an updated one. She is totally beautiful. She speaks great English too. She met a guy in our raw group I lead and that was why she came to America. She's the only one in Italy doing raw and hasn't met another person yet.

Isn't it a small world? She loves our area too. Who knows, but maybe a transplant to Colorado one day.

She may not be online for a few days, but had to share--it's a small world after all! Oh her foods were delish too.

ciao Carol, tonight I had so much fun at my first potluck!
It is really a small world indeed, meeting you tonight was so unexpected and incredible, you are so positive and vibrant and you made me feel very comfortable. It was a very nice experience for me to be with so many rawfoodist, and i wish one day to see something similar in Italy too.
Thank you for your kind words! My picture is quite recent, it was taken last august, but you know, it was right after holiday and i was tanned and very relaxed!
What an amazing night... I have travelled from Italy to Colorado and I have met Carol from this board at my first raw luck!!
:D :D

Sure glad I wasn't in that picture. Pictures and I don't agree. I'll have hubby translate for me tomorrow your link posting. I can't wait for you to come to our house. You were one of the highlights if not the highlight of this year's raw experience for me. I just loved it and can't express the joy that came from this night. Thanks for the sweet compliments here too. When you come to the next raw, I will ahve posted ..."all the way from Italy, coming to our rawluck will be rawl book author....."

Off to bed. Emjoy the hot springs. Oh, check out Sunflower Market if you are near them in NM.
