canned artichokes

I am wondering if canned/frozen artichokes and canned hearts of palm are cooked. I have a feeling they are but i don't want to believe it since they were 2 of my faves :(

Anything canned is definitely heated way too high to be raw.

Frozen vegetables are usually blanched before freezing.

i thought that would be the case :( plus canned is usually full of salt anyway - yuck!
