hehe ure cute...im like that too, where i dream all day about a certain raw recipe i saw... for example today i COOKED all day for clients, but at the same time i was thinking about my RAW christmas menu and kept imagining the pic of Maraw's lemon chewies - they will definately be on my menu :)
For the crepes:
puree bananas and spread em on a teflex sheet. dehydrate until u can peel the whole thing off in one piece. then cut into rectangles.
Filling:
(these are approximates so play with it)
1.5 cups soaked almonds
2 cups soaked, dried apricots
1/2 banana
1/2 cup raw honey
Puree till creamy in food processor. (taste it and then add whatever it needs)
Assembly:
Place a "crepe" down and spoon a bunch of filling on it. Roll it up and clear away any excess filling that will squish out. Repeat with the rest of crepes. Leave in the fridge so that the banana crepe gets really soft. OMG its heaven in your mouth after that, lol.
A carob chocolate sauce would be really yummy over these. And banana ice cream. I just garnished with some of the filling, fresh apricot slices, and crushed pecans.
hope that u enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas!!!
As for the chocolate tarte, i have so many things in there that i cant remember. All i know is that i hand peeled a pile of soaked almonds and it took a really long time... because i wanted it really creamy and didnt want those fibery skins. Also there was carob, coco butter, avocado, dates, vanilla bean....ill have to try and replicate and then give u a recipe.

Oh my goodness...thank you for the crepe recipe! I saw the pic and immediately did a search for the recipe! Looks lighter than the one in Alissa's book...the filling was too intense for me. Gonna make these for breakfast on x-mas morning! :D

I did day dream about your recipes all day, i didn't eat anything and toward the evening of shopping i got lightheaded and started shaking ( low blood sugar) i suppose and i was at the health food store by then and bought a small cookie (not raw) but i was about to pass out and i ate it and felt better and so i went home to rest.
I know better now to not just dream about food but to eat something :o .
Thanks for the recipes, you are a sweetheart, i'm glad your pie calls for almonds, cashews are so expensive, too much for this holiday season.
I can't wait for the update on the pie recipe, it will be a BIG HIT on Christmas Day, and believe me with my husband around it will only last for 30 min.
I'm going to make the crepes today, i purchased a load of bananas yesterday and have to use them up because they were a little soft in spots but they are very sweet.
Thanks so very much Fairygirl for making our Holiday Bright!!!!!!!!! :D :D
Merry Christmas

i hope u guys enjoy...remember my amounts are approximates so please play with it to get the exact flavour you want. thats what i always do.
OH, and ill add, the chocolate tarte has a coconut/nut crust. hmm...now i cant even remember what nuts, but it was nuts, dates, and shredded coconut (altho the coconut was left like that and not pureed into the crust, if u know what i mean). im sure u can see that in the pic.

:D :D You have given us a head start on having a wonderful Christmas meal and we really appreciate it.
I've got the crepes in my dehydrater and i hope you don't mind that i added a bit of orange juice to help keep the color.
How long did you have to leave yours in the dehydrater?
Next i think i will add so raw carob to the bananas and make a chocolate crepe, my husband will eat them if they are carob but i love, love bananas.
Thanks so much, again :)
Your creations are WELCOMED HERE ANYTIME!!!

i really like the idea of adding carob to the crepes to make them chocolatey, i was thinking of doing that too...and also adding some pureed apricot to the bananas.
Mine stayed in the dehydrator for quite a while...maybe 6 hours or so.
hope u post a pic :D enjoy!

Fairygirl,
your apricot lemon cookies look gorgeous. And I need a sandwich. Now. It looks sooo good. Is there a recipe to share for the cookies?

Oh fairygirl,
What gorgeous, gorgeous stuff you make!
I, too, would love that apricot cookie recipe.
And your sandwich... Wow! Is this a new batch you've made? If so, have you tried it with the suggested amount of apples and zucchinis? What's your verdict?
Today, I'll be planning for my upcoming "uncooking" (I like to make a bunch of recipes when I fire up Excalibur...) I'll make sure to take some pic if anything "presentable" turns up! LOL
