Oh my.. I'm experiencing apple bliss! Earlier today I was commenting on how wonderful and thoughtful our clients are where I work. They have given us all sorts of holiday goodies and it is so kind of them! But that it is hard trying to stay away from all my old holiday favs. A hour or two later a person delivers this BIG, heavy looking box. I check the card and it is too us from a client and was delivered by a fruit market. Now fruit markets in Kentucky deliver everything under the sun, so I had no idea what was going to be in this box. When I opened it up it was a bussel of BEAUTIFUL Red Delisious apples from Washington. Hmmmmmm... I opened the box and that wonderful apple smell just wafted up at me.. and hmmm... I was as excited as a kid at Christmas! :D Talk about a wonderful gift! My co-workers think I'm nuts for the most part, but I am one happy camper!

That is great!

I just went to the store a few days ago and bought 35 pounds of Gala apples. For some reason I have been craving raw applesauce that I have been having for breakfast for a couple of weeks now.

It's funny because normally I rarely eat apples and right now I can't get enough of them.

Raw applesauce.. Hmm... that sounds good. What do you put in your applesauce faith4u? I'll need some ideas for all of these apples. Hehe, what a wonderful delima!

Do you have Alissa's book. I started first with her recipe. It is very easy and very yummy. I just blend it up in my food processor. My kids love this. I have to double what I think I will eat because they take so many bites that I end up having to make more. :D

I think it is Maraw that has a fabulous apple crisp to make. It is so good.
