Before my hiatus the past 6 months I bookmarked a great site that someone here refered me to....it was a site that you can plug in what type of food you want (say veggies) and what mineral you would like (calcium) and it would list in order of highest calcium to lowest in that particular food group....ring any bells? Could someone kindly give me the address??
My Dr. wants me to have x amount of calcium and says I should take supplements and I beg to differ! I would like to use this site to show her....
Thanks!

You mean this one? http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24218
All you have to do is look at your own name and "find all posts started by" to find posts started by you.
...I don't know why but it seems my message got lost...again...
I am looking for a web site that someone shared with me last year when I was on the boards. It had a drop down option of food categories (veggies/fruits etc) and then the drop down option of which mineral/vitamin you are looking for. It would then tell you the highest mgs of whichever mineral/vitamin you wanted for that category of food.
Does anyone know the address of this site...it was SO helpful to me and I"ve lost it!

THANK you very much for pointing out how to find my previous posts..it seems rather obvious to me now...I searched and searched for that post!! Apparently things are moving FAST here!
Meanwhile, fitday.com is not the site that I recall....somehow my PC cleaned out my bookmarks without my permission! (Considering my PC savvy I probably did it by accident...)

Hmmm...thanks for the idea, but no, that wasn't it either...it was free...
I wish I could figure out how to search for it and narrow it down...but how do you tell google: "a food chart-but-not-really-thingy"~~I've googled under nutrition chart and find some neat sites...but I can't find "IT"....
