After work, I'm on my way to the grocery store.. any suggestions on what I should keep my eye out for. Also I'm vegan.
Thanks!

You want to look for things that saw 'raw','unpasturized' or 'cold-pressed'. Good luck to you!

Congrats! It's my first day two. I just picked up some fresh fruits and veggies and have been snacking on them all day.
Take Care!

Congratulations on your decision! First of all, depending on budget, make a nose dive into the produce section and take anything and everything within your budget that you enjoy eating in its natural state. At the moment, for me it's lots of fresh fruit, cucumbers, red peppers, melons, sometimes a bit of avocado. Perhaps some raw almonds to soak and eat.
Then, buy anything that might be on the list for any recipes or stuff like that. I enjoy experimenting with recipes, but some recipes which look good I wind up not liking, so it's good to have the fresh stuff in its whole unaltered state as a backup and as a foundation to start with.

Buy lots of fresh produce. Look for sales! That means you can buy more! :D

Welcome and if you can, go to a local farmer's market where prices are lower and most of the time, fresh produce is much fresher than the typical grocery stores! Also you'll find a lot of fruits and veggies that are amazing, but also that you might not find elsewhere. Look up some of the recipes here once you want to delve into more complex foods. And good luck!
