I am having the STRANGEST phenomenon happen to me. For the past 2 days, if I am eating and continue eating to where I am starting to feel too full... my thumb starts to hurt, my left thumb. The first time this happened i didn't pay attention and it kind of went numb for a few minutes. But now I have figured out that stopping eating makes it go away quickly.

WHAT on earth is this!!!???? It will become helpful to stop me from overeating... but it doesn't seem like a good sign. Doesn't this seem awfully bizarre???

If anyone believes me ;) - what is this?

Interesting indeed! Wow...guess your body is letting you know who's boss!

No but seriously, I don't know...don't have any solid answer for you there...I've never heard of that happening before.

never heard of that before but i guess it gives new meaning to the phrase "green thumb".

It could be "referred pain":

Maybe your over-full stomach is putting pressure on your chest, rib cage, or internal organs, and the pain is referring to your thumb. That's my only guess!

The body does odd stuff sometimes. I know my chin tickles about 12 hours before a major asthma attack. i think the referred pain theory sounds interesting. I would just be happy that you are able to hear your body now.
