Ok- I have a b-day coming up & I want to bring my own cake to my parents house.

I was thinking of doing RP's brownies in 2 layers-but what about a filling ?

Any ideas?

would love any input. :)

Thanks,

Lana

You can make this chocolate moose cake. I made it so much at the health food store and it sold old each time. Its it tasty.

Ok here goes

Crust is Mac nuts

Coconut flakes

Dash of salt

Vanilla

Blend in food processor

Filling

Hand full of soaked cashews

Coca powder

Agave nectar

Coconut butter

Freeze and the crust tastes just like a hard chewy brownie and when frozen it sets forever like raw chocolate would.

Have a rawkin birthday

The cake I make is
walnuts and fresh medjool dates ground together
and chopped strawberry, papaya, banana.

A layer of the nut, loose, not packed down
layer of fruit
layer of nut
layer of fruit
layer of nut
with a topping of white nuts blended with lemon juice, water and a couple of dates.

I did a raspberry cheesecake yesterday!!! It was expensive but so loved!!

Crust:
Pecans
Raisins
Currants (just for texture and colour they never seem to blend
Agave
Dash of melted cacao butter to hold it together

Filling
Macadamias (or cashews)
Lemon
Agave
Cacao Butter

Topping
Package frozen raspberries
Cacao butter
Plus whatever cream filling was left in the blender
I think I also through in a few tbs of psyllium powder

I did it in a big lasagna pan and served it as squared. People LOVED it. The raspberry mousse on top was surpurb, and because it was made with cacao butter it stayed firm at room temperature. If we have batteries and my husband hasn't eaten the last piece I will take a photo for you!

I also made another with chocolate filling and a raw chocolate layer as frosting. This was for the lunch after a charity event we catered food for yesterday.

Cheers,
Sheryl

Thank you all.

Bobbie- The fruit nut layer cake sounds just great ! Thanks for the idea. I wonder if mangos would work instead of papaya?

Sheryl- Wow-what a recipe. Thanks for posting. I am in awe of your creativity. Now I need some cacao butter-I have plenty of the powder. :D

BTW- Just downloaded the e-book-it's FABULOUS ! Sheryl-so happy I ordered it & will be making so many of the recipes. I can't wait.

Thank you all so much for the ideas.
