This one is very cool because it's so versatile.
1 C. macadamias
1 C. cashews
Lemon juice
Water to blend
Now, for a veggie dip add 1 clove garlic and grind 3 peppercorns. After it's all blended, you can add minced red and/or yellow bell pepper and stir it in for a confetti look.
For a fruit dip, use the first 4 ingredients and add some agave and a little bit of fruit for color.
Blend thoroughly.
Have fun and enjoy!

Your choice. I've made it with just cashews when macs were unavailable. Don't think I'd use pecans though. Almond pates are really good so, that would probably be my next choice. Just consider soaking them first and peeling them if you want an almost white dip.

try throwing some chopped fresh herbs like parsley in there, and maybe some onion - it will up the flavor and color factors!
