My latest kick has been Tahini roll-ups.

I take any chopped veggies -my fav combo is cauliflower, avo, little onion, lime juice, a little sea salt & roll into a cabbage or romaine roll spread with tahini ! YUM! :D

I found this as a combo of a recipe that needed an extra touch so I added the tahini.

I also like flax crackers spread with tahini & then thinly peeled cukes-again YUM!

My other fav kick is fruit-esp...persimmons, mangos, papaya & plain banana smoothies.

I make an awesome Mango salad with diced mango on shredded romaine with lime juice, little onion & tomatoe.

Most of these have been cravings so I listen & eat accordingly.

Simpler eating has been working for me lately.

Oooo yep yep! Me too. Instead of my usual pancakes or toast, sausage, eggs and home fries.. I grab a banana. Way healthier! :D

Avocados - straight or combined with other ingrediants.

Durian - when I took a two day train trip, I blended durian and froze it in containers. It was great to take one out, let it thaw, and sip on it while sitting in the observation car.

And apples, especially Ginger Golds.

Oh, and green smoothies!!!

I love really good, really crisp celery and also Romaine or leaf lettuce. Also love home grown tomatoes. And onions of all kinds. I remember reading a story written by someone about her grandma and how she cooked in the old days. Every recipe started out, "Take an onion..." Well, that's me. I have onions at pretty much every lunch and dinner and sometimes breakfast too. I like cranberries, either dried or fresh in small amounts. I like lemon and lime juice. And most all kinds of nuts and seeds.

For recipes and "made up" kinds of foods, I like onion bread, RP's brownies and a variation with coconut. I like the lemon chews and also some pumpkin seed bars from GoRaw.

During the summer I like strawberries straight from the vine. During winter I like sprouts. I don't seem to want sprouts in the summer, perhaps because my garden has so many other foods in it.

Fuji apples. I read in a book they were good in Green Drinks due to the sweetness. Now I prefer to eat them whole and use the less sweet green apples in my Green Drinks.

Fresh fruit!! Pineapples, blueberries, watermelon, bananas, oranges, and good old apples.

Just today I had a new fruit that I got at the organic market: A Charentais melon. A small melon, similar to a cantaloupe. Tasted very sweet and juicy and it was my first time eating one (or hearing of one)

These days? Pineapple or Papaya. The two great tastes that'll clean you out like industrial pipe cleaner! LOL.

I am really into fruit. A treat for me on weekends is to slice a bannana, top with home amde cashew butter and a rasin or two. Sure beats what I used to eat for breakfast. :D

Delicious kale salads with macadamia nut oil + lemon juice and sea salt. It's like eating a bag of addictive potato chips.

Chocolate and vanilla mint chip icecream from One Lucky Duck. And their chocolate pudding... omg.

Raw pizza from Quintessence.

Champagne mangoes... the small, yellow, kidney shaped kind that taste incredible. Most of the ones I find in NYC are very hard and taste like turpentine =/

Dehydrated golden jalapeno/flax chips with guacamole and salsa. Mmmmmm....

Raw almond milk smoothie with banana and a dash of cinnamon. This is my reward for a wicked gym workout :)

Rowan-would love your recipes for both the beet/pear & apple turnip salad. It sounds like quite the combos. :)

Grapes and cantelope as of lately. Also vanilla shakes with just a hint of cacao...reminds me of a Wendy's Frosty!
