I am traveling for the holidays and want to pack pack pack my own food. Does anyone know if we can dehydrate RP Brownies?

If not is there a raw cocao cookie/fudge recipe out there that can dehydrated? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You really don't need to unless it is too wet.

I used some soaked figs and raisins in my last batch so I did stick it in the dehydrator to get rid of the extra moisture becvause it was a little too sticky, but generally, no, you don't need to and frankly I'm not sure why'd you want to.

I am asking because I will be traveling for the holidays and want to bring RP Brownies, so I was wondering if they could be dehydrated: for traveling purposes only.

I don't see why not. I leave them open on the counter till they dry out a little....makes them taste more like the old sad version...in any case they are delicious....my only real sweet treat.

Thanks GLimR-

I appreciate you sharing if you do it rather than asking me why I would want to do it. I'll try it I guess and see what happens, I have a week to experiment.

Alrighty.....I was so inspired (haven't had these in awhile) I decided to make some to "cure" for my trip. I added about 2T raw cacao nibs to the recipe and an extra handful of walnuts to make sure they are on the drier side. Process like RP says to.......they're great!! The nibs add a very interesting crunch.

In my defense I never asked you, just wasn't sure why. I didn't see that you were travelling when I first read your post. It makes sense that you need to for travelling, because they are kept fresh in the refrigerator. I've dehydrated breads and still had to keep them in the fridge/freezer.

Anyway sorry if my response offended you! :)
