The science behind The Secret

I have just finished an amazing book- The Field by Lynne Mctaggart. It is a cummulation of Scientific studies carried out by a number of scientists. Basically it states that there is one underlying field of energy, The Zero Point Field which connects everything at all times. What is really inteersting regarding The Secret, is that our thoughts are affecting the Field and so, Like atracts like.. For me this is the marridge of my spirituality and science ;) I probably will be reading this book numerous times to pick up all the information and I highly recomment this book!

Hi Nenyath... isn't it interesting that quantum physics is moving more and more towards the profound infinite energy... that the sages of the ages have spoken of and shared throughout time. It seems that the world and life are at very transforming places right now.

Yes, it is amazing how things are comming together! I remember having a sort of epiphany one day at work, it was in 2002, when my spiritual endavour had just begun and before I had really started reading anything on the subject. I saw this Ocean of Light and it occured to me that it would be where we returned after this life and that everything there is possible, what you want is what you can have- if you want heaven with angels, it is yours and if you want to dance in the moonlight as a unicorn that too is truth. Furthermore everything seemed to be perfectly able to excists at the same time and there was this inter connection. As I began reading more and joining forums on the internet, I discovered more and more persons sharing this idea, and now, now science proves the excistence of such a sea og light or field..

I think you are right Star, a lot is happening in the world right now and I think it will be every bit as life changing as the Industrialization was, if not even more!

That book has been hanging around here for a year and a half! My mate bought it together with Secret Messages in Water by Masuru Emoto (another really good book!). He wanted to read it but never got too far until recently and the moment he finished the book I took over :rolleyes: I hope you will enjoy it!

Thank you for posting about this book. I am going to have to check it out. Dr. Gabriel Cousen speaks about this subject matter in a few of his books too.

Right now I am reading Science and the Reenchantment of the Cosmos. The rise of the Integral Vision of the Reality, by Ervin Laszlow. In this book he and other quantum physicists speak about World Consciousness or a World Soul, zero point energy field and the interconnectedness of the every living thing. It's one of those books that you can't put down and you know you will read over and over.

Hi Stina... You may find it helpful to read the new Creating Abundance II thread overtime. Lots of good ideas and inspiration are mentioned there. I'm avid book reader....atleast I think so.. :p

Another excellent read is "The Power of Your Subconsious Mind" by Dr. Joseph Murphy. First published in 1963, and additionally revised in 1982, 2000, and 2001. This book is phenonmenal!!! You will literally find yourself carrying this book with you wherever you go.

I don't have many actual books on this subject. But one that I found to be particularly enlightening is Ramtha (http://www.amazon.com/Ramtha-White-Book/dp/1578730457/sr=8-1/qid=1169524151/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-7511109-2295052?ie=UTF8&s=books) (the white book). It has a lot of answers for the psychology of the ego, in the midst of intelligent and inspiring words. It really is a different book every time I read it. Very straightforward, yet poetic at the same time.

It does get redundant at times, but I never get bored reading it.
