im starting raw tomorrow. Ive got a great food processer to make dips and spreads and salsas and stuff and some great recipes. but im not going to eat 100% raw. I have a big appetite and a fast metabolism and have problems keeping my weight up. the last time I tried eating raw I lost way too much weight, so this time i'm introducing a lot of extra cold pressed oils and extra carbs to my recipes along with fruits , vegetables , nuts and legumes to help keep my weight up. I know this is a vegan board (atleast i think so) but im going to eat sashimi, different types, and oysters on the half shell a lot. I found a great place where you can buy sashimi grade seafood by the pound cheap. Im going to eat about a 4000 calorie a day diet and about 3400 of those calories will be raw. Everything is 100% raw except 3 servings of black beans per day and the fish oil supplement that i take which is steamed at some point in the processing. Im real excited. I cant wait for my digestive problems to go away. later. happy holidays. :)

Good question. Seems as though you know what you want to do and are going to do it soooo....

You might wish to read the mission statement before posting about your sashimi and oysters.
