Has anyone read or used this book before? How are the recipes?

I am looking for new ways to prepare food, but I don't have a lot of money for fancy equipment or obscure ingredients. I also don't want to get bored, though!

The full title is Raw Foods for Busy People: Simple and Machine-Free Recipes for Every Day

Here is the book: http://www.amazon.com/Raw-Foods-Busy-People-Machine-Free/dp/141161836X/sr=8-3/qid=1165788752/ref=pd_bbs_3/002-9376276-9151231?ie=UTF8&s=books

Thanks for your help! :)

I have that one and have made only two things from it ... the mashed potatoes and gravy recipe ... which I didn't care for ... and the "quick almond milk" which was good. Basically, you use almond butter and water ...

I've used Alissa's book the most, 2nd most used is RAWvolution ... had tacos last night and I've got some Onion Bread going in the dehydrator ... yummmmm :p

LOL ... a friend at work keeps asking me when I'm going to make the "tuna" stuff again ... lol ... she liked the recipe I made from RAWvolution ... and she keeps telling me how good I'm doing and that she could *never* do "that" (eat raw) ... LOL

I do have this book and like it. I like Alissa's better - of course. But this does have a variety of everything basically. Easy prep. Do you have Alissa's?

May I suggest a couple of titles you may find more useful?:

-Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 people by Jenny Cornbleet
-Instant Raw Sensations by Frederic Patenaude

Hope this helps!

Thank you, everyone!

I don't have any books yet, so I am trying to find the right ones for me.

I have this and Kate Wood's book. I've made loads form RFRW and Alissa's but still nothing from either of these. I wish I'd bought a jar of almond butter instead.
