... recipes when you fire up your dehydrator?

Just wondering... I made a batch of macaroons that have a weird flavor and I'm guessing the onion bread on the above trays might be the culprit.

Has that happened to you before?

I'm surprised as I've mixed sweet and savoury before in my old dehydrator without problems.

LOL @ onion bread. That strikes me as funny because I always wondered what foods taste like when you dehydrate different foods together. Oh my LOL :D
Guess I know now. That is probably why your treats smell likes feets *hehehe* :p

I have combined various foods in my dehydrator and only seem to have a problem if the seasonings in say flax crackers or a nut pattie are too strong. Then the sweet item (cookie or fruit leather) will have an off taste. I do like using all the trays if I can but now mostly uncook like foods with like foods. Onions would probably have the most strong flavor I'd be using too, along with cumin or chili power which I love in flax crackers!

for making us aware of this :D

I, too, wondered about mixing certain items.

Now we *all* know :D
