I've been hearing people talking about green smoothies. I'm going to try them. (They're a good thing, right?)

I want to try taking them to work. I already take an 8+ cup water bottle filled with filtered water. My question is, what type of bottle would work best for this?

My plastic bottle says that it's for "water use only". Is this because it's plastic? Would it still be OK to carry a green smoothie in a plastic bottle? Also, my water bottle has a relatively narrow mouth. I will look for something much wider. How big should the bottle be?

Thanks.

for $14.63 you can buy an all-stainless 50 ounce wide-mouth thermos at Wal-Mart to pack your smoothies with you for the day. I bought two of them.

Welcome to the Green World. Smoothies ! You ask; they'ra good thing? The best way to go. Find a nice glass jar. One rule; you must chew your green drink before swallowing it. Mixing it with your digestive system in your mouth !

Does the thermos do a pretty good job of keeping your smoothie from jellying? I tried taking a smoothie in a Nalgene bottle once and it was cold but jellied.
Another question can you make your smoothie the night before and put into the thermos for the next day?
