Thank you for the welcoming thoughts. I am actually from El Salvador, in Central America and the name Aasrai is something I came up with...I usually associate it with the creative impulse that urges me to release it whenever I do my work (Painting, Illustration, Printmaking/Drawing, writing). I think we all have it locked inside of us and it's not unique to a particular field or medium of expression. It just happened to be that in my case it was visual arts. :) Wow....long response, anyway, hope to hear from everyone soon!
