Say I wanted to make a cassarole from scratch and not from a pre made recipe, how would I know how hot to make the dehydrator and how long to run it for?
Sorry, still learning. Lots of questions at least for this week ;)
No matter what type of cassarole you are making you should set the temp somewhere around 105 degrees. Just don't go over 115 degrees. And more than likely you will need to dehydrate a cassarole for many hours. When I make lasagna I dehydrate for about 12 hours. It is still very juicy but the veggies are very soft and delicious. I have served it to people that are not raw and they didn't even know it was raw. Good luck!
