View Full Version : raw bread?
i saw this bread in the store yesterday. it claimed to be "100% sprouted grain" bread and it claimed it was "baked" in such a way that it retained all the nutrients of the sprouts it was made of. i don't remember the name brand, but it started with an "e."
is this raw/living food???
thanks!

Was it Ezekial Bread or Manna Bread? I don't think any of them are what raw fooders consider raw. Ezekial Bread, for example, says on their website they are not raw because they bake the bread at 200 degrees. Still lower than most breads are baked at and it's healtheir than regular bread...but technically still not raw. Some people do still use such breads as a transitional food, though.

No I don't think it would be raw. It's hard to make raw bread. If you make stuff with nuts and etc, its a good substitue but its still not really bread.
thanks!
this will be my first and last loaf!
