Hey everyone I need some help!!!!!I've fallen off raw food and now have bronchitis. I am eating fruits and veggies but I made hot veggie soup with crackers and even had some chips!!!! Is now the right time to go back all raw when I'm feeling really sick? When I go back strict raw I usually get a bad headache. What should I do? I am on a lot of medication for the next 9 days. The medication is making me feel cold so to eat cold food I'm a little worried. But I know it's good for me because raw food helped me through Breast Cancer. Please help!!!!!!

I hear you. Focus. There IS a level of raw food eating that is right for you at this stage and direction in YOUR life. Your task is no easier or different than mine - put one foot in front of the other towards a goal of your choosing. Isn't that work enough?

if feeling cold ide rather drink warm tea than warm solid food ,
say a medicinal / antibiotical tea such as echinacea thats
said by many to be good for bronchitis .
on food many healers ive read ( ive no medical education , all my
ideas are arrived at from reading ) would say with the bronchitis to
eat least as possible so the body can have every eliminative paths
open to flush out the germ laiden mucous as quickly as possible .
and i would also say theyd call for a light fruit diet with vitamin C
when you do eat , like apples and oranges .
also i know the herb mullien is good for expelling mucous from lungs
and makes a pleasant mild tea .

When your body is in crisis, it's best to stop eating. Yep, that's really what I said. But ... most people find that pretty drastic, so, the next-best would be to drink liquids (raw, of course) and get tons of rest.
To more directly answer your question -- YES this is the time to go back 100% raw. But, you knew that already, I suspect.
And ... about that headache, you're feeling lousy anyway, right?

thanks for all your advice. I know raw is the way to go because I woke up this morning feeling worse and I ate cooked food yesterday. So I already had a babana and black rasberry "smoothy". I have tangerines that I will be eating for the rest of the day. I think I'm going to try and eat just fruit today. With a 2 1/2 year old i don't get much rest so if I can make my eating easy and qiuck maybe I won't be so tired. Thanks Again for all your help.
