View Full Version : What are you having for Christmas dinner?
If you celebrate Christmas (or even New Years), what are you planning for that "special" dinner?

I LOVE HOLLY HOBBIE!!! :)
Just had to say that... LOL.
I haven't decided yet what Christmas dinner will be. I'm going to my family 3 hours away, and I'll have to bring food for me, my husband and daughter to eat (and share if they want to have some) because everything will be cooked just like every other year...

At this point, I have NO idea....I would love to make at least one fabulous dish to take to my mom and dad's house, they will cook everything, and I will probably cook something, but I want to take something raw too! ANY ideas?
I have read that Alissa's noasted turkey was good, but I haven't tried it yet..."miss hamilton's cranberry sauce" p. 298 in Alissa's book was good, I made that last year for Thanksgiving...my dad loves the CANNED cranberry sauce, but he really liked this!! I'd like some good ideas!!

I dont know. Were having regular turkey dinner but I dont really want to eat it. I think my family would be offended if I brought something different and ate something else at the table. I could always say Im not that hungry but they would think Im rude LOL. Our family loves to eat. Oh boy.

No clue yet. I just know my mom said our Christmas Eve dinner would be simple this year. My parents are coming over for lunch on Christmas day. I'm doing salad like I've done in the past. Big green salad with all sorts of separate toppings, like a salad bar. We don't do anything special on New Years except to go outside at midnight and watch all the fireworks.

I think this will be easy for me because we don't have a big Christmas meal, we do finger foods. I was raw over Christmas last year but I don't remember what I ate. This is why journalling is such a good idea. Anyways, I am thinking stuffed mushrooms, salad, guacamole and chips, date balls, and some christmas cookies or a pie or cake and some ice cream. Yeah, that sounds good.

Hey. I was reading your journal and saw that you went on a 30 day fast. First of all, congrats! Secondly, how did the master cleanse go? I'd really like to try it but just wanted to know if you really felt different afterwards. Is it worth it? Please let me know.
