After a low carb diet for 6 months and now moving on to raw food (want to get rid of my ulcerus colitis) Im worried if the amount of fruits that I eat might be bad since I had Candida before?? Really like eating lots of fruits and juices, but cannot risk that.

Dunno. Some people here really believe that fruits are ok and that it's fat that contributes to candida...or fats combined with sugar (or something like that lol) and some people will tell you that the fruit is it. Maybe you could try rotating fruits and fats to see which one bothers you? Other than that, I don't know. If it were me, I've always heard that the sugar from the fruit is the problem, so I'd probably cut down on my fruit a lot.

The problem is that I just started eating fruits a lot since I got rather serious problems with my stomach wheb eating a high fat+high protein diet. So I dunno what to do really to be safe :S

Caroob, if you care to search (click on the little icon up top with the banana) we have a lot of discussions about the candida issue.

But I just wanted to share that I had it when first going raw and I got rid of it simply by eating raw...no restricting fruit or nuts - as long as I kept it raw. Some say you have to eat low-to-no fruit...others say you have to eat fruit but eliminate nuts and other fats. Alissa has helped many (including her own self) get rid of candida simply by going raw...period.
