:) It's not breaking off a lot but some, has anyone had this problem and if so what did you drink in the form of a juice or a certain food to help with hair growth?
I was told that biotin would help but don't want to take the gel capsules so can you all help me?
Thanks
Bethanie

Is it breaking off at the root or lower on the hair shaft? What makes you think it is breaking? We lose over 100 hairs a day, is it something different than usual loss?

some women were discussing this a few weeks ago here

i think some said ingest coconut oil

and david wolfe says its too much fruit and not enough greens

do a search on hair loss here , you wont have to scroll back very far to find it

Sometimes i will find one or two strands in my comb, it was breaking off badly and then i deep conditioned it and it seems to slow down the breakage.
It was growing now it has seemed to stop, just wanted to also know if anyone else has experienced this with their hair and what they did to try and stop it.
Thanks

I don't think there is any one thing that works for everyone. Some people say one thing works, and others say that didn't work, but this other thing did.
One thing that seems to work for most people is making sure to get enough (and a balance of) essential fatty acids. That would be flax seeds, hemp seeds/nuts, and walnuts contain some.

I think another thing is not just what you eat, but what you don't eat/consume. Are there medications involved; vitamins that may or may not be good for you.

Generally, I think just being raw and staying raw is the best way. It takes time. I think Alissa mentions a lot of the ups and downs of raw, especially the first year.

Keeping hair soft can help lessen hair breakage as well. And these recipes are raw for your hair too :D

A small avocado mashed and combined with an egg yolk is another moisturizing mask for your hair. Apply to hair and then go and read a magazine for 15 minutes while the ingredients go to work. Rinse out and then shampoo and condition thoroughly.

or

1 banana, mashed
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

1. Mix everything together.
2. Apply on to your dry hair and leave it on for 30 minutes.
3. Wash out with a mild baby shampoo.

Yes, I went through this and now my hair is strong and healthy and grows so fast. I recommend plenty of greens and making sure you have enough EFA's in your diet (as Jaurequi mentioned).
