hi everyone! i'm pretty new here. i'm a long time vegetarian and was also raw for a month a long time ago and decided to get back to it. i'm on day four and i'm having trouble eating. i'm just not hungry. i've been up for nine hours and had an orange, an apple and some tomatoes, and i'm full. i've only ate that much because i've made myself. is my body telling me i need to fast? yesterday i only ate about 500 calories and was not hungry in the least. before raw all i did was overeat and binge. what do you all think? have you had this happen? last time i was raw all i did was eat eat eat!

Why don't you just go by what your body tells you ~ eat when you're hungry, sleep when you're tired. Can't make it any easier than that.

i was thinking the same thing :) was just wondering if it was cause for concern due to my very low calorie intake. thanks for your thoughts!

Well, consider this then ~ if you do a fast, your calorie intake will be nil. In actuality, in nature, animals fast when they are ill. Humans do it for... *shrugs* I'm not sure what reason. :)
