I've been very willing to fast on just water or juice yet I have a problem as I'm currently underweight. Height 5.11 and I weigh about 130 pounds, I also lose weight extremely fast. Is it even beneficial for someone like me to fast? Or is it yet better to just consume vegetables and fruit? I'd love to do the most efficient cleanse as I actually need one for my health.

Ironically, being underweight usually means that you need to fast, because you probably have a toxic colon. I once fasted down to 96 pounds on a 21 day water fast, and I felt better than I had in my whole life. Literally.
However, underweight probably also means that you have a high metabolism. This means that a fast will be fast, but so will the accumulation of broken up toxins. Proper elimination is essential. You could try starting with a juice fast. Just make sure that your intestines are still stimulated while on the fast. If you go for a day without having a bowel movement, you might be running into trouble, so eat some fruit, and then proceed with the fast again.

If food builds flesh, how do the well-fed become emaciated? How many greatly emaciated people do we meet every day who are eating like harvest hands? Many of them are weak and unable to work. If food gives strength, why are they so weak and skinny?

have you fasted? I am in the same boat as you and wanting to fast because I know it will get out the toxins but scarred where I am very small. 93lbs 5ft. I would love to hear of your results.

Draginvry were you thin to begin with? Have you kept some of the weight off, are you at your usual weight or are you at a heavier weight?

My weight per inch of height is 1.34. Irisha's is 1.8, another faster being encouraged in another thread is 1.7. Do you think I should fast? And for what length of time? I currently do one day a week water fasts and have done a three day before. I decided to eat a few pieces of fruit towards the evening of the 3 day fast. I'm also much more active since my last weigh in and may weigh less than what was used in the above calculation. The feeling I had even with the fruit addition to fasting was great. I was happier, more alive, and smarter. What do you think?
